Corporate family pension trust (SSAS)

The Smith & Williamson corporate family pension trust (SSAS) is primarily aimed at entrepreneurial company directors or senior executives. It offers a tax-efficient vehicle to build financial security in retirement for them and their families.

We have successfully managed SSASs since 1978. As a result we have the experience needed at a cost effective rate to efficiently handle the establishment and/or administration of such arrangements.

Why use the corporate family pension trust?

The advantages

  • flexible contributions, including corporation tax relief
  • investment control
  • make investments on arms length terms which may also be beneficial to the business
  • succession and generation planning
  • generous benefits on death before retirement, free of inheritance tax
  • payment of all benefits from the scheme (annuity purchase deferral)
  • ability to include other family members

Who would use this service?
