David manages funds for a range of traditional private clients, trusts, pension funds and charities. A number of his clients are either domiciled or resident abroad, and David is familiar with the appropriate offshore structures.

He joined Smith & Williamson in 1985 after reading Electrical Engineering at King's College London, and has worked in the investment department ever since.

David is Head of the Investment Management & Banking department.
