John Cowie

John is Head of Aim and a director of Smith & Williamson Corporate Finance. He oversees and markets the firm's involvement with Aim, the London Stock Exchange's growth market for smaller companies.

John writes regularly on Aim-related issues for the national and financial press and presents at seminars and conferences in the UK and abroad. As a member of Smith & Williamson's Corporate Finance department he has wide experience both of bringing companies to Aim and providing advisory services to existing Aim companies, together with many years' experience working on mergers and acquisitions, fundraisings, valuations and financial promotions.

John joined Smith & Williamson in 1988.
