Frank acts personally for a large number of individuals and their families and private charitable trusts. He has specific expertise in capital taxes (including inheritance tax), the taxation and administration of trusts, individual estate planning and asset management. He has specialised in private client work for over 20 years.

Prior to joining Smith & Williamson, Frank was a lead partner within the combined Arthur Andersen/Binder Hamlyn private client group, encompassing personal tax and financial planning advice, having established Binder Hamlyn's services in this area.

Frank is author of a number of articles and books, has lectured extensively and commented on tax and financial subjects on radio and television.
